Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 6m- 18 years Patients with CECT-diagnosed abdominal tuberculosis who are planned to be initiated on ATT (Antitubercular therapy)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Patients who have already been started on treatment for tuberculosis. • Patients with other gastrointestinal infections that could mimic similar symptoms

To determine the predictive value of stool CBNAAT for diagnosis of abdominal tuberculosis.Timepoint: 12 months

MeasureTime frame
Correlation between stool CBNAAT and CECT abdomen in children with abdominal tuberculosis. Correlation between stool CBNAAT and stool LJ medium for abdominal tuberculosis. Timepoint: 12 months
