Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients fulfilling American society of Anaesthesiologists grade 1,2 Patients aged between 18 years to 65 years posted for major spine surgeries
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients allergic to local anaesthetics Patients on opioids for chronic pain Patients who refused to be a part of the study Patients with impared hepatic and renal function Patients on calcium channel blockers and magnesium Patients posted for surgeries with duration greater than 5hours
