Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients of ASA I and ASA II 2.Patients aged 18 to 50 years 3.Patients who will be conscious enough to co-operate with sound mind in the immediate post-operative period 4.Patients willing to give informed consent to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with pre-existing cardiovascular, pulmonary or metabolic diseases or history of a neurological, psychiatric or chronic pain disorder, who were taking psychotropic drugs and those with unstable hemodynamic status

1.To determine the correlation between â??pulse co-oximetry perfusion indexâ?? and â??visual analogue scoreâ??. 2.To evaluate pulse co-oximetry perfusion index as an objective tool for post-operative pain assessment. Timepoint: BASE LINE , AT THE TIME OF INDUCTION , AT THE TIME OF COMPLETION OF SURGERY , FIRST REQUEST OF RESCUE ANALGESIA , 30 MINUTES AFTER REQUEST OF FIRST ANALGESIA, SECOND REQUEST OF RESCUE ANALGESIA, 30 MINS AFTER RESCUE ANALGESIA
