Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Pre diagnosed cases will be taken only with positive sickling report 2 Age between 3 years to 16 years irrespective of gender caste religion 3 Patients with sign and symptoms of sickle cell disease 4 Hb >6.5 gm% and 5 Hb electrophoresis reporting % of Hb S >10 gm% 6 Serum Bilirubin less than 3.0 mg/dL

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Age less than 3 years and greater than 16 years 2 Patients with known case of hepatic and renal dysfunction and chronic cardiac dysfunction 3 SCA associated with other known diseases like Diabetes Mellitus Hypertension Thalassemia 4 Hb 11.5 gm % 5 Serum bilirubin level more than 3.0mg/dL 6 Known case of other haemoglobinopathies and haematological diseases other than sickle cell anaemia G6PD thalassemia sickle cell beta thalassemia
