Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Pre diagnosed cases of positive sickling test will be taken only Age between 3 years to 16 years irrespective of gender caste religion Patient with sign and symptoms of sickle cell anaemia Hb >6.5% and Hb electrophoresis reporting % of Hb S >10 gm% Serum Bilirubin less than 3 mg/dL

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age less than 3 years and greater than 16 years Patients with known case of Hepatic Renal Dysfunction Chronic Cardiac Dysfunction SCA associated with other known diseases like Diabetes Mellitust Thalasemia and Hypertension Hb 11.5 gm% Serum bilirubin level more than 3 mg/dL Known case of other Haemoglobinopathies and Haematological diseases other than Sickle cell anaemia like G6PD deficiency Thalassemia Sickle cell beta thalassemia
