Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The neonates with a central venous catheter inserted 2. used for at least 72 hours prior to removal Both criteria have to be fulfilled

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Emergency removal of the Central venous catheter due to malfunction 2. Death/DAMA before removal or within 6 hrs of removal 3. Central venous catheter inserted outside our NICU setting
