Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged between 40 and 75 years undergoing elective surgery for off pump CABG procedure

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Known allergy to tranexamic acid Redo surgery Coagulopathy Renal failure Emergency surgeries On pump CABG procedure Patient refusal to participant in study LVEF <35%

MeasureTime frame
To determine postoperative blood loss in mlTimepoint: Postoperative drain in ml 4th hour 8th hour 12th hour 24th hour

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Haemoglobin level,hematocrit value ,platelet count, international normalized ratio and partial thromboplastin time will be measured before and after surgeryTimepoint: Comparing the values before and 24hours after surgery
