Inclusion criteria: ASA Grade I and II Scheduled for elective palatoplasty

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Upper respiratory tract infection Allergy to local anaesthetic drug Renal and hepatic disease Major cardiac or pulmonary disorders Bleeding disorders

MeasureTime frame
Total dosage of Inj.fentanyl used as a rescue drug for attenuating the hemodynamic stress response intraoperatively will be calculated. Timepoint: Baseline and every 15 minutes after induction till the completion of the surgery
