Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: subjects having clinical features of subclinical hypothyroidism like fatigue, feeling of cold, decreased appetite, hoarseness of voice, unexplained weight gain, hairloss etc subjects with elevated level of serum TSH ( > 5mU/L to 20mU/L ) Freshly detected and untreated cases of hypothyroidism

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Treated cases of subclinical hypothyroidism. subjects with primary hypothyroidism, congenital hypothyroidism and secondary hypothyroidism. subjects who underwent any type of thyroid surgery. Pregnant women and Lactating mothers will be excluded. Subjects with systemic disorders like HIV,HbsAg and uncontrolled Diabetes and Neoplastic conditions which interrupt with the course of treatment will be excluded.
