Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To measure the sensitivity and specificity of IVC collapsibility index in predicting hemodynamic changes ( heart rate, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and mean arterial pressure) measured after prone positioning under general anaesthesiaTimepoint: baseline before induction of anaesthesia, 2 minutes after induction of anaesthesia, before prone positioning, immediately after prone positioning and every 5 minutes thereafter till 20 minutes after positioning or until surgical incision | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To measure the sensitivity and specificity of IVC collapsibility index in predicting hemodynamic changes ( heart rate, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and mean arterial pressure) measured after general anaesthesiaTimepoint: The hemodynamic parameters including heart rate, non- invasive mean arterial pressure, systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure measured before induction of anaesthesia, 2 minutes after induction of anaesthesia and before prone positioning | — |
