Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All the patients diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus currently being treated. Endocrine clinic(OP) and Medicine ward (IP) are the two departments where the study will be conducted. Those patients who are able to understand and communicate in English and Kannada .

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients reluctant to participate (speech or hearing disability ) , Patients with comorbid conditions , Patients indicating advanced cardiovascular illness, renal failure requiring dialysis, a past cardiovascular accident, blindness, and the requirement for psychiatric medicines.
