Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To correlate the amplitude of PDR (%) with changes in heart rate (beats/min) during surgical incision.Timepoint: 1 minute after surgical incision. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To assess the correlation between PDR (%) and BIS (Bispectral Index) for depth of anaesthesia assessment during intraoperative period.Timepoint: 1 minute after endotracheal intubation, 1 minute after surgical incision and every 30 minutes after surgical incision; To correlate the amplitude of PDR (%) with changes in blood pressure (mm of Hg) during during endotracheal intubation and surgical incisionTimepoint: 1 minute after endotracheal intubation and 1 minute after surgical incision; To correlate the amplitude of PDR (%) with changes in heart rate (beats/min) and blood pressure during maintenance of anaesthesia.Timepoint: Every 30 minutes after surgical incision till completion of surgery; To correlate the amplitude of PDR (%) with changes in heart rate (beats/min) during endotracheal intubation. Timepoint: 1 minute after endotracheal intubation; To correlate the amplitude of PDR with NRS (Numerical Rating Scale) score for pain assessment in post operative recovery roomTimepoint: Every 10 minutes in post anaesthesia care unit till 30 minutes.;To correlate the PDR (%) with pulsatility index (PI) during intraoperative periodTimepoint: 1 minute after endotracheal intubation, 1 minute after surgical incision and every 30 minutes after surgical incision | — |
