Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To compare the time for intubation through block buster laryngeal mask (LM) and Air-Q intubating laryngeal airway (ILA)Timepoint: From removal of face mask to appearance of ETCO2

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.First insertion success rate of block buster LM and Air-Q ILA 2.Overall insertion success rate of block buster LM and Air-Q ILA 3.Time and Ease of block buster LM and Air-Q ILA insertion 4.Oropharyngeal leak pressure 5.Glottic view assessed by fiberoptic bronchoscope 6.Number of attempts of intubation through the block buster LM and Air-Q ILA 7.Time to remove block buster LM and Air-Q ILA after intubation Timepoint: Once after insertion of device;8.Any complications during intubation or block buster LM and Air-Q ILA removal (Bradycardia, desaturation, ETT cuff/ pilot balloon rupture, accidental extubation) 9.Blood stain over posterior surface of block buster LM and Air-Q ILA cuff 10.Complications after extubation (laryngospasm, stridor, dysphonia)Timepoint: Once after device removal and in post anaesthesia care unit
