Intervention1: Disease modifying osteoarthritis drug- diacerin: Base line Levels of Inflammatory markers will be assessed followed by diacerin for 6 weeks and reassessment will be done at 3 and 6 week

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Clinically and radiologically confirmed diagnosed cases of osteoarthritis as defined by ACR criteria
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Coexisting acute illness. 2. Person should not have taken anti-inflammatory drugs for more than 7 days in the past 4 weeks or on any day during the period of 5 days just before starting the trial. 3. On corticosteroids or immunosuppressive drugs. 4. Any acute injury or recent surgery (past 3 month). 5. History of intra-articular injection in the knee in past 6 months. 6. Pregnancy and lactation
