Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Hospitalized children in the age group of 7-12years who are hospitalized for medical illnesses include Respiratory, Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary, Endocrine disorders, musculoskeletal disorders. anticipated having a minimum of three days of hospitalization. with age-appropriate grade. accompanied by a parent Parents, Who will accompany the child throughout the hospitalization and be willing to participate in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Hospitalized children with the previous history of hospitalization have any physical, psychological conditions that are not appropriate to participate in Nurse-led play intervention such as mental retardation, blindness, deafness or mental illness. critical ill admitted in Pediatric intensive care units with the need of special care Parent, Parents having a physical or psychological condition that is not appropriate to participate in Nurse-led play intervention such as blindness, deafness and psychiatric condition.
