Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA I - III patients 2. Age 18 -80 years 3. Major surgery 4. Patients of either sex

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patients who are not willing to participate in the study 2. ambulatory surgeries 3. patients with altered mental status 4. pregnant patients 5. paediatric patients

MeasureTime frame
eGFR is calculated from preoperative serum creatinine value. Patient will be observed for major adverse events during and after surgeryTimepoint: Time point will be 24 hours after surgery

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Death due to major adverse cardiac and cerabrovascular eventsTimepoint: Time point will be 30 days
