Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All children between 1 to 18 years with duration of type 1 Diabetes Mellitus of less than 6years All should be registered in Diabetic OPD of KLES Dr Prabhakar Kore Hospital and Research Centre

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with evidence of severe complications at diagnosis Pancreatic exocrine disease Other types of diabetes like Monogenic, Type 2 diabetes, Drug induced Children on immunosuppressive drugs Children with immunosuppressive diseases Children with genetic syndromes End stage renal disease Refusal for enrolment to study

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Prevalence of autoantibodies in Type 1 Diabetes MellitusTimepoint: Initially outcome will be assessed every month till the target sample size is reached. After completing total sample collection, over all data will be assessed

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Compare the clinical characteristics in children with number of autoantibodies positive Clinical characteristics like Age at presentation Sex Type of presentation leading to diagnosis of diabetes Other associated endocrine diseases Associated complications like diabetic retinopathy, nephropathy, neuropathy, celiac disease, thyroid disorder, etc.Timepoint: Data will be assessed after every month. After total sample size data is collected, overall data will be assessed.
