Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects with dysmenorrhea as screened by VAS>= 3 & WaLIDD scale (>=5 moderate to severe) within age group 18 to 28 yrs. Presence of MTP in any of these muscles Rectus Abdominis, Internal Obliques, External Obliques, Quadratus Lumborum and Para Spinals.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Diagnosed case of any underlying pelvic pathology, Abdominopelvic surgeries, Known case of secondary dysmenorrhea, Subjects on pain medication or on hormonal therapy on a regular basis for any diagnosed condition other than primary dysmenorrhea, Subjects hesitant to take Dry needling and subjects with known allergic reactions to needle.
