Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - All the biochemically diagnosed patients of PHPT who are planned for parathyroidectomy - Who all are consenting to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Patient not consenting for inclusion in the above study - Patients with recurrent or persistent PHPT - Patients with secondary or tertiary hyperparathyroidism - Prior documented respiratory diseases, e.g. â?? COPD, Bronchial asthma - Known neurological disease - Pre-existing spinal deformity like kyphosis or scoliosis, rib fracture - Not able to perform PFT - PHPT with the syndromic association
