Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients aged > 60 years 2) Planned for elective surgery 3) Mini mental state examination score >24. 4) Patients who are able to fluently read and write either English or Tamil

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Trauma patients 2) Patient posted for Cardiothoracic and Neurosurgery 3) History of stroke or transient ischemic attack, psychiatric illness, and clinical history of dementia 4) Patients with severe visual or auditory disabilities, illiteracy, alcoholism or drug dependence
