Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA1 and ASA2 children aged between 1-12 yrs posted for elective surgery under general anesthesia requiring ETTintubation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: know or predicted difficult airway Respiratory tract infection Craniofacial, laryngeal and tracheal deformity

MeasureTime frame
To assess the narrowest tracheal diameter that is subglottic diameter by ultrasonography for selection of appropriate size ETT.Timepoint: 3min after preoxygenation .

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To compare ETT size calculated by ultrasonography with that of age based formula in a pediatric patientTimepoint: 3min after preoygenation
