Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 40 to 60 year old patients with radicular low back pain >6 weeks with no pain relief after 4 weeks of conservative therapy Lumbar disc protrusion at one or two segmental levels on MRI and CT

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal Neurological deficit Vertebral deformity Coagulation defect Local infection Allergy to drug Cancer Pregnancy Drug abuse history Obesity BMI > 30
