Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Systemically healthy patients willing to take part in the study. Patient with more than 20 natural teeth. Patient with chronic periodontitis having probing pocket depth of >= 5 mm. Clinical attachment level (CAL) >=4mm. Patients with no history of allergies.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients having any systemic diseases. Inability or unwillingness of the patient to complete the trial. Patients on any medication that could affect or alter the course of periodontal treatment. Poor oral hygiene. Pregnant and Lactating mothers. History of smoking and alcohol abuse. Patients who underwent periodontal treatment 6 months prior to the study.
