Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with mandibular symphysis and parasymphysis fracture. Treatment of fracture through intra-oral approach

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with existing co-morbidities/ systemic conditions. Patients undergoing closed reduction for treatment of fractures.

To evaluate the effect of locally injected dexamethasone with and without Vitamin C on postoperative edema in mandibular fractures. Timepoint: At baseline, post-operative day 1, day 3 and day 7

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the efficacy of locally injected dexamethasone with and without Vitamin C wound healing and pain in mandibular fractures.Timepoint: At baseline, Post operative day 3, day 7 and day 14.
