Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. College-going female students irrespective of all religions and socio-economic status. 2. Patients with signs and symptoms of anaemia and preliminary investigations like Hb%, peripheral blood smear suggestive of iron deficiency anaemia 3. Patients having Hb within 9-11.5g/dl and any two suggestive parameters among the serum Ferritin, serum Iron and TIBC will be taken up for the study. 4. Literate patients with ability to read English and/or Bengali. 5. Participative, willingness to comply with the study procedure and do laboratory investigations as and when required for the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Females less than 18 years and above 26 years 2. Pregnant and lactating females 3. Diagnosed cases of underlying medical conditions like diabetes, pulmonary diseases, psychological disorders etc. 4. Undergoing homoeopathic treatment of any chronic disease within the last 6months 5. Alcohol, tobacco or drug dependents. 6. Self-reported immuno-compromised state. 7. Cases of iron deficiency anaemia due to other diagnosed conditions like malignancy, genetic disorders etc.
