Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: age limit from 18 to 60 years of either sex. participant diagnosed with primary insomnia. Insomnia severity index of anthens scale more than 7 and less than 21.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Person having night shift duty. Person having any psychosomatic disorders like migraine, tension headache. Lactating mothers, pregnat women.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To observe effect of medicine on increasing sleep hours.Timepoint: 14 days study. follow up on 7th and 14th day.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate any other causes for nidranash in present era. To compare the efficacy of Jatamansi Hima and Jatamansi Churna in nidranash.Timepoint: 14 days study. follow up on 7th and 14th day.
