Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: non-specific low back pain (LBP) (with or without radiating pain) subjects Subacute or chronic LBP will be determined on basis of the duration of the LBP: Subacute LBP (pain onset between 10 days to 7 weeks); Chronic LBP ( >7 weeks of pain onset). Subjects will be included only if there was no past history of LBP in past one year prior to the current episode

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: spinal tumor/ infection/ inflammatory condition/ surgery/ fracture/ structural deformities; any co-existing systemic or metabolic or neurological or vascular condition; subjects with signs of nerve root compromise, defined as decreased tendon reflexes, sensori-motor deficit; subjects with bladder-bowel involvement; and subjects in whom spinal extension is otherwise contraindicated.
