Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. > 18 years of age 2. Patients with Renal calculi planned for PCNL 3. Residence within a 20 km radius of at least a secondary health care center
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: PRE-OPERATIVE EXCLUSION CRITERIA 1. Horseshoe kidney 2. CKD / AKI 3. Charlson Comorbidity Score >= 3 4. S.T.O.N.E. score >= 9 INTRA-OPERATIVE EXCLUSION CRITERIA 5. >= 3 access Tracts 6. Operative Time > 90 mins (from a puncture to exit) 7. Pelvicalyceal system perforation 8. Pleural/other organ injury POST-OPERATIVE EXCLUSION CRITERIA 9. Temperature >100 Fahrenheit persisting after one dose of Paracetamol administration. 10. Abnormal clinical parameters: a. Heartrate >100beatsperminute b. RespiratoryRate >20breathsperminute c. Systolicbloodpressure 11. > 2 g/dL drop in Haemoglobin 12. Transfusion of blood products 13. Pneumothorax or haemothorax on chest X-ray in intercostal/high intercostal punctures 14. Pain Visual Analogue Score >4 after administration of analgesics 15. Unable to void or ambulate 16. Persistent visible haematuria
