Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Athletes who participated in competitive sports atleast at district level or with minimum 2 years of training and experience in any sports. 2. Sprinters as well as marathon runners will be included in study. 3. Athletes who already use sports drinks

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Athletes who are not willing to participate in this study. 2. Runner athletes who suffered from chronic disease like cardiovascular disease, respiratory conditions i.e. COPD, Asthma, and Pneumonia etc. 3. Athlete who smokes and uses ergogenic aids. 4. Athletes who suffer from any type of injury in last 3 months

Blood pressure will be measured by using SphygmomanometerTimepoint: Before warm up and after 1000 mt. run with different types of drinks on respective days;Blood sugar,blood lactate, blood hematocrit,blood electrolyte will be measured by venous blood sample from superficial forearm veinTimepoint: Before warm up and after 1000 mt. run with different types of drinks on respective days;Heart rate, respiratory rate will be measured using fingertip pulse oximeterTimepoint: Before warm up and after 1000 mt. run with different types of drinks on respective days;Temperature will be measured using digital thermometerTimepoint: Before warm up and after 1000 mt. run with different types of drinks on respective days
