Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: PATIENTS DIAGNOSED WITH SEPSIS (SEVERE INFLAMMATORY RESPONSE SYNDROME WITH A PROVEN OR SUSPECTED SOURCE OF INFECTION)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients receiving Platelet transfusions, FFP 2. Patients with Haematological malignancies 3. Patients with ITP, Reactive Thrombocytosis 4. Patients on Immunosuppresants, Anti platelet drugs 5. Patients with pre-existing autoimmune condition, on Chemo Therapy and/or Radiation Therapy
