Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Healthy individuals in age group between 18-50 years 2 Individuals who have not consumed caffeine in last 10-12 hours (in the form of tea/coffee/dark chocolate).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Patients with any ocular pathology and infection. 2 Patients who has undergone cataract surgery or LASIK or any other. 3 Patients who have already consumed tea/coffee/dark chocolate ie items containing high caffeine in last 10-12 hours prior to the test. 4 Patients having any underlying disease or health issues

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Tear production measured by schirmers test 1 in mm before caffeine consumption.Timepoint: 10 minutes before caffeine consumption.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Tear production measured by schirmers test 1 measured in mm after caffeine consumption.Timepoint: 30 minutes after caffeine consumption.
