Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: •Patients diagnosed with schizophrenia •Education: 5 years and above •Adequate visual and hearing ability •Patient cooperative for assessment
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of substance dependence (other than nicotine dependence), epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, or other neurological disorders 2. Co-morbid intellectual disability based on case records/ History of developmental delays 3. Currently undergoing or had undergone any form of cognitive remediation in the last six months 4. Received electro-convulsive therapy in the last three months

| The study is intended to assess the effect of cognitive remediation on cognitive functions (such as attention and memory) measured through neuropsychological assessment and EEG-based event-related potentials. Therefore, the primary outcome variable is change in neurocognitive functions due to cognitive remediation carried out in patientâ??s home setting with the help of a caregiver.Timepoint: The patients will be evaluated at three levels pre-intervention, post-intervention, and a follow-up (after 8 weeks post-intervention). | — |
