Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age not less than 18 years and not more than 80 years.2.Any gender.3.patients undergoing elective abdominal, orthopaedic , gynaecological, cardiothoracic ,ENT and Urological surgery under general anaesthesia.4.Patients whose mother tongue is Assamese.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient not willing to take part in the study 2. Patient on antipsychotic medication. 3. Patients with a history of substance abuse. 4.Patient with a history of severe pre-existing medical condition. 5.Patient with a history of malignancy under radiotherapy and chemotherapy. 6.Patient with poor Assamese comprehension. 7.Patients who needed intensive care unit admission in the first postopereative day.
