Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria (For glaucoma patients) i. All new or review patients diagnosed with either primary or secondary glaucoma with characteristic optic disc and field changes. ii. Age > 18 years Inclusion Criteria (For Controls) i. Age > 18 years ii. Age matched controls with a best corrected visual acuity of 6/12 or better in the worse eye attending outpatient services of Aravind Eye Hospital, Pondicherry
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria (For glaucoma patients and controls) i. Patients with other causes of vision loss like cataract. ii. Those with coexisting retinal disease (e.g., age related macular degeneration, proliferative diabetic retinopathy, retinitis pigmentosa and retinal detachment) iii. Those with optic nerve abnormality other than glaucomatous changes e.g., optic atrophy, anterior ischemic optic neuropathy and tilted disc.
