Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Both sex Age 18-65yrs ASA 1-3 Undergoing surgery for bowel perforation under general anaesthesia
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with Significant cardiac, renal, pulmonary and hepatic diseases Diabetic Ketoacidosis and patients on biguinides Pregnancy Major blood loss and massive transfusion History of any major illness and ICU stay in last six months •Re-exploration laparotomy and iatrogenic bowel perforation •Chronic alcohol intake •Patient refusal for participation
