Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Adult patients referred from pre-anesthetic clinic or pre-anesthetic evaluation for 2D echocardiography as a part of preoperative workup before surgery. 2)Ability to complete a clinical echocardiogram on the same day before or after study procedures 3)Able and willing to provide informed consent · Outpatients and inpatients being evaluated before elective surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Unwilling or unable to provide informed consent 2)Patients admitted in ICU on mechanical ventilator support and/or on vasoactive medications to maintain stable hemodynamics.

The primary end point of the study will be diagnostic accuracy of single-lead ECG based artificial intelligence algorithm to identify individuals with reduced EF (EF less than 40%) by comparing results from AI-based Eko Duo device with the actual measurements of LVEF by echocardiography.Timepoint: Before Elective Surgery
