Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All patients more than 18 years of age who have undergone elective laparoscopic or open interval appendectomy, inguinal hernioplasty, and cholecystectomy
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: All patients with (1) Complicated surgical procedures (2) Inability to complete virtual visit (lack of access to a device or internet); (3) Discharge with drains; (4) Postoperative length of stay of more than 3 days
