Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients from infancy to 15 yrs of age suffering from Chhardi irrespective of religion, race, gender and socioeconomic condition 2) Patients suffering from Doshaj Chhardi will be included. 3) Patients Suffering from vomiting with no or mild dehydration 4) Vomiting caused due to Ajirna, Amlapitta or any problems related to digestion in children.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients presenting with symptoms of other than doshaj Chhardi (Sannipataja, Beebhatsa Darshanajanya Chhardi.) 2) Patient suffering from Chhardi as an upadrava of other diseases. 3) Known case of- Congenital anomalies, Intestinal obstruction, chronic systemic infections, Appendicitis, hyperthyroidism, renal failure, poisoning, head injury, high grade Fever, Motion Sickness associated vomiting. 4) Those having Endocrinal pathology and other systemic illness like meningitis, malignancies, etc. 5) Patients having moderate to severe dehydration due to Chhardi. 6) All surgical cases induced vomiting is excluded.

whether Priyangvadi syrup is more efficacious than Balchaturbhadra syrup in the management of Chhardi (vomiting) in children or not.Timepoint: child will be selected by randomization and will be given priyangvadi syrup or Balchaturbhadra syrup as treatment for 5 days , outcome will be assessed after completion of all trial within 6 months to 1 year
