Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Institutionalized elderly subjects aged 60â??90 years have at least 1 tooth with exposed root surfaces caries. Root Caries that are restricted in dentin and asymptomatic tooth.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Elderly subjects with serious life-threatening conditions Caries involving the pulp Tooth that is presented with grade III mobility

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcomes of this trial will be to find if new active caries developed on the exposed sound root surfaces of the subjects during the study period and whether the active root caries lesions found at the baseline would become arrested, i.e., became an inactive lesion.Timepoint: 1st , 3rd, and 6th month
