Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who are diagnosed with Periodontitis 2. Patients who are diagnosed with Type II Diabetes based on ADA criteria with the age group of 30-50 years. 3. Non-diabetic subjects.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with a history of acute or chronic inflammatory diseases 2. Patients who are smokers. 3. Patients who are under chronic medications which influence salivary flow
