Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To identify whether diabetic cataract in Indian population is associated with the 3 SNPs (rs11129182, rs17047573, and rs17047586) on chromosome 3p14.1- 3p14.2 locus, as identified in diabetic cataract in the Taiwanese population.Timepoint: one year

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To identify the correlation between duration of diabetes and SNP expression in cases of diabetic cataract.Timepoint: 6 months
