Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1. To estimate the levels of sTREM-1 and TNF -α in GCF of subjects with health and generalized stage III grade B periodontitis with and without Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. 2. To correlate the levels of sTREM-1 and TNF- α in GCF of subjects with health and generalized stage III grade B periodontitis with and without Type 2 Diabetes MellitusTimepoint: At baseline

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
3. To explore the possibility of using sTREM-1 and TNF-α as a marker for health, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and generalized stage III grade B periodontitis and relate them with clinical parameters.Timepoint: At baseline
