Inclusion criteria: 1.Intubated for more than 72 hours 2.Extubated after spontaneous breathing trial 3.Age 18 years to 99 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Neurological impairment 2.Self Extubated 4.Intubated outside the Kasturba hospital 5.Tracheostomy patient 6.On home oxygen support 7.Palliative extubation cases
