Interventions

Control Intervention1: Mephentermine: DOSE OF 6 MG IV BOLUS WILL BE GIVEN WHEN THERE IS HYPOTENSION ( FALL IN MAP MORE THAN 20% ). RESCUE DOSE OF 3 MG WILL BE GIVEN IVBOLUS AFTER 5 MINS OF FIRST DOSE

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Full term parturient of age 20 -35 years. 2. American society of Anaesthesiologistsclass 1 and 2 3. Scheduled for caesarean section under subarachnoid block during the study period.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient refusal 2. Below 20 years and more than 35 years. 3. H/O hypertension, preeclampsia, eclampsia,hyperthyroidism, any coexisting neurological , cerebrovascular, renal , metabolic, psychiatric, occulovascular disorder. 4. Having known fetal abnormalities and fetal distress.
