Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. BMI 23kg/m2 -27.5kg/m2 2. Stable Lipid Profile 3. Glycated haemoglobin 6.5-7 with T2DM 4. T2DM for more than 6 months-1 year 5. Willing to attend the training programs for 3 sessions per week for 12 weeks

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Blood pressure greater than 160/95 mm Hg 2. Body mass index (BMI) >30 kg/m2 3. Serious Complications from T2DM including retinopathy, neuropathy, nephropathy and peripheral vascular disease 4. Restrictions in physical activity because of disease; or presence of other medical conditions that made participation inadvisable
