Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who gave written informed consent ASA grade I, II, III Urological surgery under general anesthesia Elective surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal ASA grade IV Febrile patient Body mass index > 30kg/m2 Patient with endocrine disorder Patient with peripheral disease Impaired respiratory function Coronary artery disease Vomiting or continuous aspiration Local nasopharyngeal infection

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Combination of fluid warmer and body warmer is a better active warming modality in maintaining normothermia constantly during entire perioperative period as compared to fluid warmer.Timepoint: 15 minutes in preoperative ward and 15 to 30 minutes intraoperatively

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Maintenance of normothermia leads to lesser hemodynamic fluctuations, reduction in analgesia requirements, early recovery from general anaesthesia and lesser post-operative complications.Timepoint: 5 minutes till 45 minutes
