Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Singleton pregnancy 2.Spontaneous conception 3.10-13 weeks 6 days of gestation 4.Signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Previous bariatric surgery 2.Known pre-existing diabetes mellitus or under treatment with metformin; 3.Known case of Hypertension, thyroid disease, kidney disease, hepatic, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease before pregnancy 4.Use of medications that might affect Glucolipid metabolism 5.No acute infection in last 2 weeks 6.No antibiotics used in during pregnancy

To identify serum metabolomic markers associated with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) and to examine the differences of these markers between pregnant women with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus and without Gestational Diabetes Mellitus in the First trimester of pregnancy. Timepoint: 7 to 13 weeks and 6 days during First trimester of pregnancy
