Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: all patients undergoing ventral hernia repair

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patient with malignancy of any kind emergency hernia repair patient not giving consent patient on psychiatric treatment patient with septic foci anywhere in body preoperatively
