Inclusion criteria: Pre-adolescent girls studying in 2nd and 3rd standard Parents of pre-adolescent girls aged 6 to 8 years Parents willing to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pre-adolescent girls who have attained menarche Parents not willing to participate in the study

initially screening the pre-adolescent girls with pubertal development scale and selecting the participants who fulfill the inclusion criteria and assessing parents knowledge and preparedness to precocious pubertyTimepoint: 0

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
pre-adolescent girls and their parents will be provided with a booklet with information about precocious puberty, diet and menstrual hygieneTimepoint: 4 weeks
