Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. All cases diagnosed with Grade I, Grade II, Grade III malnutrition associated with Vitamin-D deficiency as per IAP classification in paediatric age group between 1 to 6 years irrespective of both gender will be considered for the study. 2. Patients will be taken irrespective of socio-economic status 3. Children under allopathic treatment for vitamin d deficiency will be included
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Cases that do not fulfill the case definition will be excluded from the study. 2. Patients who need emergency medical intervention with complication of other systemic disease will be excluded. 3. Cases having severe acute malnutrition. 4. Cases diagnosed as Grade-IV (very severe malnutrition) as per IAP classification. 5. Cases diagnosed with tuberculosis 6. Cases diagnosed with rickets and increased alkaline phosphatase will be excluded
